Programs
Below is a summary of the Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) programs currently offered at Castle Hill RSL.
Recreational Gymnastics
Children are introduced to gymnastics and develop gymnastics skills, strength, flexibility, co-ordination as well as having plenty of fun.
Children in our recreational program are assessed each term to determine their readiness to move into a competitive program.

National Development Program (NDP) – Levels
The NDP program is a levels 1-10 competitive program in which girls further develop their gymnastics skills. In this program girls are placed in squad groups (based on levels) and attend training several times per week. At Castle Hill the NDP program is competition based, with girls working on skills and routines to perform in competitions at a Local, State and National Level.
At Castle Hill we currently have NDP Squads in Levels 1-6.
Entry into the NDP program is by invitation only, based on assessment of gymnastics skills and age (current Castle Hill recreational gymnasts are assessed each term in week 7).
International Development Program (IDP) – High Performance/Elite
The IDP program is an elite based program designed for girls with a very high level of gymnastics talent/ability. The IDP program requires a great deal of commitment with gymnasts training up to 30 hours per week. Gymnasts in this program compete in Local, State, National and eventually International competitions, as well as participating in regular testing by Gymnastics NSW and Gymnastics Australia.
At Castle Hill we currently have IDP squads in pre-development, IDP1-10 and Junior International.
Entry into the IDP program is by invitation only, based on assessment of gymnastics skills and potential, age, strength, flexibility and body type.
